The Lakes Area Violet Growers extends a hearty welcome to all African Violet enthusiasts to become a member of our club. No experience required. You only need an interest in growning African Violets.
The purpose of Lakes Area Violet Growers organization is to give persons interested in African Violets a forum to exchange ideas, share knowledge and participate in shows, and/or participte in special events in a friendly and fun atmosphere.
All persons applying for membership with Lakes Area Violet Growers are expected to participate in the organization by attending meetings and/or working at shows, and/or participating in special events.
AS A MEMBER YOU CAN:
- 1. Learn everything you ever wanted to know about growing beautiful, healthy African Violets.
- 2. Share the knowledge and experience of fellow members.
- 3. Participate in hands on workshops and attend free seminars on growing African Violets.
- 4. Answer the most frequently asked question, "Why won't my African Violets bloom?"
- 5. Learn all about propagation and how to increase your collection of African Violets.
- 6. Participate in club sponsored events.
- 7. "Growing to Show" Let our experts show you how to win that first blue ribbon.
- 8. Learn about all of the different plants in the African Violet family and how to grow them.
- 9. Become an expert yourself. We all started with ONE violet.
